Customers affected by a burst water main in Thurton have now been connected to a different water source as Anglian Water work to fix the damaged pipe.
A spokesperson for Anglian Water said that a total of 500 customers were affected by the problem this morning but have confirmed that all homes are now connected to a water supply.
The burst main caused the closure of Thurton Primary School and headteacher, Mrs Williams, said there was no option other than to close the school this morning: 'We had to close for health and safety reasons as we couldn't have 98 pupils all flushing the toilet at the same time, there would be no water left,' she said.
