Reports on social media earlier today that a Tornado had crashed near RAF Marham have been confirmed to be incorrect.
A spokesman for Norfolk police said it was just a training exercise.
A spokesman for the RAF added: 'Every station has a crash and disaster plan, and they were just testing it. It was normal business.'
He added that he was unaware of any future training exercises at RAF Marham.
