A thriving running group in Suffolk has celebrated its third anniversary with a colourful test of stamina followed by cakes and treats.

On Saturday 100 people took part in the Brandon Country Park parkrun, with people of ages running 5k around the scenic setting.

Runners were encouraged to dress up in fancy dress and after completing their two laps they enjoyed cake and jelly to celebrate the group's third birthday.

At first the parkrun group had about 30 regular runners, but its numbers have now swelled to about 80 or 90 a week.

The Brandon Country Park parkun starts at 9am every Saturday.
