Former Miss Teen Norfolk winner Gabbi Ryan, from Swafield, near North Walsham, dressed as Superwoman to take part in the Sport Relief Mile on Sunday, starting and finishing at the town's pier - and wearing stilts.

She hopes to have raised over £100 as part of the challenge which saw thousands of fundraisers across the country walk, run, swim and cycle to raise money for some of the poorest people on the planet.

Gabbi, who shot to fame on ITV's Take Me Out, tweeted: 'So happy! Despite being freezing I had such an amazing and rewarding day at Cromer Pier.'

It is not the first time the TV star has taken part in the challenge having previously completed it doing backflips in 2012 and on a pogo stick in 2014.

Gabbi, 19, added: 'As soon as I learned how to do jumping stilts that was it, I thought that is what I am going to do next.'

The stilt walk wasn't the only unusual fundraiser at the weekend.

Megan Webdale, 23, from Sheringham, and her partner Chris Woodhall, 21, from Stalham, completed a seven-and-a-half mile three-legged walk from Stalham to North Walsham.

They took three-and-a-half hours to complete the fundraiser along the Weavers Way which raised around £100.
