Villages are being encouraged to participate in the West Norfolk Games.
Organisers are calling for any village, no matter how big or small, to compete on June 26, between 10am and 4pm.
The event was officially launched yesterday at Alive Lynnsport, when councillor Elizabeth Nockolds was joined by a representative from King's Lynn Mercedes, Georgie King, event organiser Adam Garford, and last year's event winners Terrington St Clement, Massingham and Harpley.
Ahead of the launch of the games Mrs Nockolds, Alive Leisure trustee, said: 'The games are a fantastic opportunity for villages to compete in a range of sporting activities. It also encourages people to try and continue with a new sport.'
