An array of weird and wonderful acts are delighting festival-goers in Norwich's Chapelfield Gardens this weekend.

The festival's free Garden Party in the city park attracted large crowds yesterday, and the fun continues today.

Paka's impressive fire-breathing dragon, Elsie, is proving to be one of the stars of the weekend along with the fearless performers of the show Block who perform circus spectacle on a giant Jenga-style stage.

Other acts include the gravity defying Urban Astronaut and Corey Baker Dance's wacky show inspired by a red telephone box.

Today The Aurora Orchestra is also bringing music to the party. It is starting its Beethoven Safari at the city park at 12.30pm - performing excerpts from the great composer's Symphony No.5 in C minor, Op. 67 before also entertaining people at the Castle Mall and outside the Forum later this afternoon.

The Dennis Design Centre is also continuing to enlist the help of festival-goers in its quest to create a unique installation for the city.

And, after it's first screening last night, Lawrence Bradby's Pedal-Powered Car Chase will return tonight to turn Chapelfield Gardens into an open air cinema from 9.30pm.

The festival's free outdoor programme is sponsored by Tarmac.

The Garden Party is in Chapelfield Gardens from 11am until 5pm today. For more information visit www.nnfestival.org.uk
