From a flooded production of The Tempest to Adnams Spiegeltent fun and more, the city and county has been packed full of all things cultural over the last fortnight – and there is lots more in store for audiences during the Norfolk and Norwich Festival's final weekend.
'It's been a very exciting festival,' said William Galinsky, the festival's artistic director.
'We have had great audiences and there has been great excitement about the variety of work that we have been doing.'
He added the excitement was set to continue for last three days of the arts extravaganza which closes this Sunday.
He said: 'We have got some great shows for the final weekend: the Curious Directive show Spindrift, this is the third time we have worked with this exciting theatre company; the final four performances of Wild Life, this amazing show with young singer-songwriters; and there's still lots going on in the Adnams Spiegeltent as well.'
White Nights, the Adnams Spiegeltent's headline circus show, is at the venue until Sunday, meanwhile music acts heading to the mirror tent in Chapelfield Gardens include Big Bad Wolf, tech-jazz band Moon Hooch and the energetic La Chiva Gantiva. Music in other venues tonight includes English Chamber Orchestra at Norwich Cathedral, Billy Bragg at Great Yarmouth Hippodrome, and Mammal Hands at Norwich Arts Centre, meanwhile on Saturday the Norwich Cathedral Choir will present a concert, and at Norwich Arts Centre the experimental psych-rock act Prince Rama will perform in the last event of the [Live] Art Club programme.
The video-storytelling performance It's Happening In Norwich continues at Elm Hill until Sunday, the children's show Mary English is at Norwich Puppet Theatre on Saturday, and audiences will be invited to take part in Building Conversation in Norwich on Saturday and Sunday. Fierce Light, the First World War exhibition at NUA's East Gallery continues after the festival, as does the Giacometti show at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at the UEA and Walk With Me, a 'cinematic walkscape' at Felbrigg Hall. Festival-goers can also a enjoy the free dance performance You and I Know, from the Candoco Dance Company, in Chapelfield Gardens on Saturday and pick a crazy track from the Public Jukebox in the city park.
