The Acle Straight was closed in both directions this morning while emergency services dealt with an accident near Halvergate.
Fire crews were called at 10.15am to the scene, where it is believed a car came off the road and ended up upside down in a field, close to the Halvergate turn off.
A Norfolk Fire and Rescue spokesperson said there were two crews there, one from Gorleston and one from Great Yarmouth.
Fire crews were assisting paramedics in treating a man and a woman who had been in the grey Toyota car.
This was the only vehicle involved.
The two people are not thought to have serious injuries, but police said they had been taken to hospital to be checked over.
The road reopened at both ends at around 12.40pm.
