The spirit of Africa was alive in Thetford as 70 singers came together to for a choral show.
The Thetford Singers, alongside pupils from Admirals Academy, put on a performance of Zimbe! on Wednesday.
The piece by English composer Alexander L'Estrange which combines gospel, African and jazz influences.
Directed by Chris Parsons, the Thetford Singers performed the harmony-rich songs with gusto, while the academy's choir, conducted by Fiona Bartlett, sang some African children's songs.
The singers were accompanied by a live band which provided saxophone solos, an authentic marimba and African-inspired percussion.
Kelly Stretton, director of music at Thetford Academy, said: 'The performance was a testament to the ageless musical talent with the boundaries of this small town of Thetford.'
