A fire at a waste management company was finally extinguished at about 7.45pm last night, after blazing since last Saturday.
A total of 13 fire engines and specialist appliances from across East Anglia were called to Glazewing, in West Dereham, near Downham Market, just after 6.15am on Saturday.
A spokesman for the multi-agencies dealing with the fire said: 'A site meeting was carried out today with representatives from Glazewing, the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, the Environment Agency and West Norfolk Council to assess the latest situation.
'The waste pile has been completely moved, quenched and relocated to storage bays or skips on site.
'Following air quality assessments at Roxham, Hilgay and Southery by officers from West Norfolk Council, no smoke or odour is now being emitted from the site.
'Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service has handed back the site to Glazewing as the multi-agency approach moves to the recovery phase.
'A fire investigation is ongoing as to the cause of the fire.'
