Staff and children at Attleborough Junior School celebrated the 100th anniversary of Roald Dahl's birth by dressing up as characters from the famous author's novels.
All of the school's 392 children came along dressed as characters including oompa loompas, fantastic Mr Foxes, giant peaches, enormous crocodiles and champions of the world.
It was part of events happening at schools across the country in honour of Mr Dahl, who died in 1990.
Headteacher Gayle Long said she was delighted with how the day went.
Mrs Long said: 'It is always lovely to see how the children interpret the characters from the books and a big thank you must go out to all the parents who obviously provided the wonderful costumes'.
Sara Matthews, the school's English leader, said pupils spent the day reading Mr Dahl's books including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches, James and the Giant Peach and Danny, Champion of the World.
Mrs Matthews said: 'The children spent a wonderful day exploring some of Roald Dahl's books in detail and it was amazing to see the school transformed into the 'wondercrump' world of Roald Dahl.'
Children made donations totalling more than £200 to Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, which supports seriously ill children across the United Kingdom.
