Witnesses are being sought after a man was punched in the face and knocked unconscious.
Police are seeking information following the assault in Lowestoft, which happened about 11.20pm on Friday, October 7.
The man was walking along Yarmouth Road in Lowestoft when he was approached by another man, who asked him the time.
A police spokesman said: 'When the victim looked down at his phone, the offender reportedly punched the man in the face. The victim fell to the ground unconscious and suffered a cut to his cheek as well as severe bruising to his left eye.'
The attacker is described as a white man, aged about 25, who was wearing a dark blue hoodie and light coloured jeans or trousers.
