An ambulance, which was 'travelling on blue lights and sirens' has been involved in a collision with a car in Lowestoft.
Delays were reported following the collision on Grasmere Drive in Lowestoft, which happened close to the Aldi superstore on Millennium Way earlier this morning (Tuesday).
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: 'At just after 10.30am today, an ambulance travelling on blue lights and sirens was involved in a collision with a car in Grasmere Drive, Lowestoft.
'A rapid response vehicle, two ambulance crews and an ambulance officer attended.
'Two people in the car had suffered minor injuries and were taken to James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston as a precautionary measure,' the spokesman added.
'A member of staff from the ambulance was also taken to the James Paget University Hospital as a precautionary measure.'
A police spokesman said: 'We were called at 10.41am this morning to Millennium Way in Lowestoft to reports of a two-vehicle collision, involving a Honda Civic and a Mercedes.'
Millennium Way was initially closed as the vehicles were recovered, but the road has now reopened.
