A man has been arrested in connection with drugs offences after a car was stopped by police on patrol in south Lowestoft.
A police spokesman said: 'Officers from the pro-active Scorpion Team became aware of a suspicious vehicle in the Mill Road car park shortly before 11am on Friday, November 4, which was stopped shortly afterwards on Beaconsfield Road.
'A 24-year-old man from the Lowestoft area was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving with excess drugs, possession of class A drugs and driving without insurance.'
He has been released on bail pending further inquiries and is due to return to police on Thursday, December 15.
