A bid to sell off land in Birch Drive, Attleborough which holds a sensory garden to developers has been rejected.
At a full town council meeting on Monday councillors voted unanimously against selling the site in order to raise money for other things.
The sale had been suggested by councillors Sam Taylor and Tony Crouch at an environment committee meeting in October. Instead, the council plans to explore ways of improving the garden. Deputy mayor Vera Dale said: 'I don't think we should sell off any green land.'
