The Sewell Barn Company's latest production - Lord Arthur Savile's Crime - opens tomorrow at the Sewell Barn Theatre.

Based on an Oscar Wilde tale and adapted for the stage by Constance Cox, the show tells of how Lord Arthur's life of good

fortune is thrown into disarray ahead of his imminent marriage when a fortune teller predicts that he will commit murder.

The farce sees Lord Arthur become determined to get this unsettling business out of the way before his pending nuptials, and what follows are his hilarious and ridiculous attempts to kill off members of his large and wealthy family - all for the love of his dear Sybil and the sake of their marriage.

Rob Morris, director of Lord Arthur Savile's Crime, said: 'Start your Christmas with a bang!

'The Sewell Barn Theatre presents Lord Arthur Savile's Crime - light for the darkest months and laughter to get you in the festive cheer!'
