A cargo ship grounded off the north Norfolk coast for almost a week has been re-floated.
The Spanish vessel Muros had been stranded since Saturday after it ran into difficulty eight miles from shore near Happisburgh.
The successful operation took place just before midnight to release the ship that had been lodged on a sandbank in an area known as the Haisbro Sand.
Previous attempts to tow the ship into open water had proved unsuccessful as the tides were too low.
The 89m vessel did not suffer any damage during the grounding and is now at anchor.
A spokesman for Humber Coastguard said: 'The tides were higher last nigh which was more favourable, so the ship could be turned round and taken out the way it came in. All nine crew members on-board are all happy and well.
