He may be just 11 years old, but Attleborough youngster Oscar Clarke can perform like a true professional.
And Oscar's talents have earned him a role in an English National Ballet performance at one of the country's biggest theatres – the London Coliseum.
Oscar will be part of an ensemble of children and mice performing in The Nutcracker.
The show tells the story of Clara, who sets out to discover a frost-dusted Edwardian London with her enchanted Nutcracker doll.
Oscar said he had been inspired by his brother, Anton, to start dancing.
He said: 'I watched my brother Anton train at home with my dad and when I watched him I decided I wanted to be a ballet dancer.
'I was then lucky to have the opportunity to dance for Georgina Pay and for Three Counties Youth Ballet, then The Royal Ballet and now for Tring Park School – it's fantastic there.
'It is a privilege to dance with The English National Ballet and a great thrill.'
Oscar's parents, Siobhan and Richard Clarke, said they were thrilled Oscar was going to be a part of such a prestigious show.
Mrs Clarke said: 'We are very proud of Oscar and are looking forward to watching him dance for The English National Ballet in the Nutcracker at the London Coliseum.'
The Tring Park School of Performing Arts is in Hertfordshire.
Oscar follows a string of successful performers who have studied at the school, including Lily James, who starred in Downton Abbey and Disney's Cinderella; Daisy Ridley, from Star Wars: The Force Awakens; Ella Henderson from The X Factor; and Olivier Award-winning choreographer Drew McOnie.
Oscar's performances will take place from December 20 to December 24 and January 3 to January 7.
