From Cromer to Ranworth to Wroxham - a moongazing hare has been spotted out and about around Norfolk as preparations march on for the GoGoHares charity art trail planned for the county next year.
Children's charity Break and Wild in Art are organising the trail which is following in the footsteps of the GoGoDragons! and GoGoGorillas!
While the previous two trails focussed on Norwich, next year the GoGoHares will also be displayed around Norfolk, and a special Moongazer sculpture has been designed specifically for the hares that will be hopping out of the city and into the wider county.
Now organisations are being encouraged to get involved in this new dimension to the 2018 trail and sponsor one of the county hares.
Martin Green, GoGoHares project manager, said: 'We are very excited about the addition of a second large sculpture which will involve a wider audience. This part of the trail will bring the whole county together in 2018 and provide a huge attraction.
'It will be a beacon for Break charity in its 50th year.'
More than 15 Moongazer hares are planned to be dotted around Norfolk. Their trail locations are still to be decided but together they will form an extension to the city centre trail which will feature about 50 hare sculptures of a different design. While the city centre hares will go to auction at the end of the trail to raise funds for Break, the county hares will be owned by their sponsors. Both the city and county hares will be decorated by artists.
Another part of the GoGoHares project is GoGoCreate which will give schools, community groups and other organisations the chance to decorate smaller hare sculptures. More details on GoGoCreate, including what the third sculpture design will look like, are planned to be revealed in the spring.
The whole GoGoHares project will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Break and highlight the charity's vital work to support vulnerable children, young people and families across East Anglia.

Most of the city hares already have sponsors but there are a few that are still available to sponsor.
