A mum who set about raising funds for a charity that helped her in her hour of need has seen her total reach £1,000.
Georgia Gillett spent almost two weeks living in Acorn House while her toddler son Oscar was being treated in Addenbrooke's Hospital in December and has vowed to raise as much as possible for the charity which runs it.
Her latest fundraiser, a charity concert held at the Cliff Hotel in Gorleston, took her total to £1,000.
The Sick Children's Trust Acorn and Chestnut House manager, Abi Abdel-aal, said: 'Oscar is such a little fighter and we are delighted to hear how far he has come. We'd like to say a huge thank you to Georgia and her family for being so passionate about fundraising. We completely rely on voluntary donations to support families in the worst imaginable situations, so the money Georgia has raised will make a huge difference to so many families. We are very grateful.'
