Firefighters are tackling a straw bale fire at a barn in Mundham, near Loddon.
Four crews from Norfolk were called to the scene in Loddon Road at around 1.30pm, with two crews still working to control the blaze.
Station manager Peter Fullalove said: 'Fire engines were here very quickly and they got to work salvaging the high quality items first, while setting some water resource in place.
'There is some major structural collapsing to the barn and that's the priority at the moment.
'To the left of the barn there was some agricultural machinery which we managed to save the majority of and on the right side there was some high value lawn mowers which we also saved.
'We are allowing it to burn. It has got a good burn rate, we've got a good organic smoke plume and it's not causing any problems to the nearby roads.'
Fire crews were originally called from Carrow, Earlham, Hethersett, Loddon and Gorleston.
Mr Fullalove said that in about an hour they would scale back to having just one crew at the site, who would work into the evening.
The blaze was believed to have been started by an electrical fault.
