Emergency services were called to reports of a man in the river in Norwich.
Police, fire and ambulance were called to Coslany Street at about 3pm on Tuesday, February 28 following reports a man, thought to be in his mid 40s, had gone into the river.
Fire crews from Carrow and Earlham were mobilised to assist a person in the river.
A spokesman in the Norfolk police control room, said: 'We got called just before 3pm to a man in the river.
'We arrived on scene and did what we could to assist.
'He came out of the river of his own accord.'
