Firefighters were called to tackle a house fire in the city.
Appliances from Earlham, Sprowston and Carrow along with the Aerial Ladder Platform from Earlham attended were called to reports of a property fire on Unthank Road at about 5pm on Tuesday, February 28.
The crews wore breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
A spokesman in the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service control room said the gas board were called as a result of a potential roof collapse but added that no people were involved in the fire.
A spokesman in the police control room confirmed they were called to the incident but purely to assist with 'traffic control' during the evening rush hour.
