Games, craft stalls and refreshments will all feature at an indoor spring fete being organised by the Grapes Hill Community Garden Group.
The Big Lottery funded event will take place on Sunday, March 5 from 11am to 2pm at the Narthex centre behind the Cathedral of John the Baptist in Earlham Road, Norwich.
There will be table-top sales, handmade soaps, jewellery, Greek olive oils, fete games, refreshments, homemade cakes, plant sales, seed swap, totem African food, face-painting, free prize competitions and quizzes.
Other community groups will also be represented there so visitors can find out how to get involved in a range of activities. Richard Bearman, chair of the group, said the funding would also allow the group to host courses, workshops and events through the year. He said: 'Gaining funding to expand our range of events at the Grapes Hill Garden is an exciting development'. For more, visit www.grapeshill communitygarden.org
