Shoppers can help raise money for Norwich's SOS bus as well as two other charities by dropping green tokens into a box at the Waitrose in Eaton.

The supermarket gives out tokens to shoppers, which they can put into one of three charity boxes at the front of the store.

This month, the charities, which will share in a total of £1,000 at the end of the month, are the Norwich SOS bus, Norfolk Young Carers and Asperger East Anglia.

Harriet Davies, development officer for the SOS Bus, said she was delighted they would benefit from the scheme.

She said: 'We are really pleased to be chosen as one of the charities that Waitrose shoppers can support this month. Every donation, no matter its size, will make a real difference to us and helps us to keep the people of Norwich safe when out in the city at night. The race is on, so please drop your token into our box the next time you shop at Waitrose, Eaton.'
