A man has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and a cyclist in Hellesdon this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash near the Jet garage on Middletons Lane just before 7am after a cyclist was hit by a car.
The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew and a medical response car from the East Anglian Air Ambulance and treated a man, believed to be in his 50s, for a head and arm injury
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment in a stable condition.
The driver of the car initially left the scene of the crash but later returned and was spoken to by officers.
