A north Norfolk primary school teacher will be handing out free hot drinks from her newly-opened seafront coffee bar this weekend, to support a beach clean being organised at Cromer by one of her former pupils.
Becky Robinson, who is a Year 4 teacher at Sheringham Primary School, launched The North Sea Coffee Company with her partner Stuart Thompson, who is a member of the RNLI international team, on the east promenade last week.
As a chairman of North Norfolk Surf Life Saving Club, Mr Thompson was keen to support the efforts of 16-year-old club member Holly Rumsby, who is co-ordinating the event as part of the annual Surfers Against Sewage Big Spring Beach Clean.
Holly, who has been surfing since the age of 10, said: 'I've been coming to the beach all my life and I wanted to help clean it up as it offers huge benefits to our community.'
Beach clean volunteers will be meeting at 11am on Sunday outside the club headquarters on the promenade.
