Popular Norwich bar The Alley has transformed into the Alley Olé, expanding into the neighbouring art gallery and serving Spanish-inspired cuisine.
The new owner Sam Finnie, formerly of Finnie's Juice Bar on Lower Goat Lane, has rebranded the Bridewell Alley bar, which first opened in December 2015, and will serve tapas, rotisserie chicken, and a range of cocktails.
Harry Newman, waiter and barman, said: 'There is a warm and friendly atmosphere that caters for students, families, and the elderly.
'We serve fresh cuisine and Spanish tapas that is cooked daily, and it's one of the first places serving pintxos in Norwich.'
The tapas, called pintxos, are laid out across the bar, and customers can choose what they want and pay at the end.
Examples of the tapas available include black pudding with quail egg, chorizo sausage, chicken croquettes, calamari, and olives.
Free-range, local rotisserie chicken, marinated for 24 hours, will also be cooked on a spit in the restaurant.
The new opening comes after the Moosey Art Gallery next door became available, and they were able to expand their premises.
