Mattishall Primary School dedicated last week to raising awareness of World Autism Awareness Week, at the request of one of their students.
The school merged the idea with a plan for an Easter bake off challenge and children and families were asked to by making a homemade cake with an Easter theme.
The cakes were judged for their appearance by the three children who had the fundraising idea and the school's award winning, school chef.
Reception teacher, Claire Findlay, said: 'The winners from year two and year four had a wonderful Easter creation and the runner was from our reception class with an Easter Rabbit cake.
'Prizes were kindly donated by the school caterers Edwards and Blake. We had some very creative entries. The cakes were then cut up and sold with other cake donations at an after school cake sale where all proceeds will go to, 'The National Autistic Society.'
