A burst of spring colour came to a village hall as a horticultural society staged its annual spring show.
A lovely display of daffodils greeted people as they arrived at the Diss and District Horticultural Society event, held at Roydon Village Hall on Saturday, April 1.
A range of new exhibits was put on show, while Roly Copping won the Hammond Cup for gaining the most points at the event.
Other members who did well were Albert Gillingwater, who won the Worshipful Company of Gardens Diploma for best pot plant. Winner of the Silver Challenge Plate for best decorative exhibit in show was Olive Jolly.
Society chairman Greta Sturgeon was over the moon to win the Cole Silver Challenge Cup for most meritorious exhibit in show - the first time she has won it in the 35 years she has been exhibiting at the event.
'I'm pleased with the high number of entries this year and proud of the quality produced by our members,' Ms Sturgeon said.
The society's next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 11 with a talk on Pelargoniums by Ken Abel. It starts at 7.30pm at Diss United Reformed Church.
That will be followed by the group's annual plant sale on Saturday, May 20 at 9am, again at Diss United Reformed Church.
