An elderly woman has died in a north Norfolk village after suffering a cardiac arrest this morning.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service Trust were called to Cromer Road in Bodham, between Holt and Cromer, at 7.29am to reports of a woman in her 70s who was having breathing difficulties.
They were helped by firefighters from Sheringham.
An ambulance service spokesman said: 'An ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer and fire service co-responders attended to an elderly woman who had gone into cardiac arrest and was not breathing.
'Despite their best efforts the patient sadly died at the scene.
'Our thoughts go out to her family and friends.'
