A new iPad app will allow people to track plane movements across the UK's airspace in near real time.
Developed by National Air Traffic Services (NATS), Airspace Explorer is a free educational app which provides information on flights and airports as well as radar data.
Currently in beta format, the tracker also provides a unique perspective on the skies above, allowing users to journey through UK airspace with a 3D view that can be moved around.
All the different aircraft in the air can be visualised on the app, including flights to and from Norwich Airport.
Data on these specific flights is also accessible, including altitude, speed and route.
Matthew Mills, NATS head of digital communications, said: 'Our airspace is really the invisible infrastructure that underpins civil aviation, but it's complex and layered.
'To help see and understand these highways in the sky we've included a unique 3D mode that shows flight paths and airspace structures.'
