Clouds of vibrant paint will erupt over Norfolk's only Hindu temple next month.
People from all communities are being invited to take part in the Holi Festival of Colours, staged in India to mark the start of Spring.
In Great Yarmouth the energetic celebration will reach a technicolour climax when participants paint each other with a rainbow of powders.
Sunita Nagpal, one of the organisers, said it was all about creating colourful cohesion and bringing people together.
The focus she said was on fun and joy, with music, food, and prayer being other essential ingredients.
All were welcome at the temple, on the A47 Acle Straight, on Saturday May 13, 12-5pm she added.
Many people were also bringing vegetarian dishes to share as part of the spirited feast which celebrates new life and energy.
In India the ancient festival was held in March but was being moved to May in Yarmouth to hopefully benefit from some warmer weather.
Last year's event saw some 100 people take part.
