Prince & Princess Michael of Kent will open an annual sponsored family fun-run and picnic in north Norfolk on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Archdeacon's Charge is organised by the Diocese of Norwich in support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance and local churches. It comprises a 2.5-mile lap with participants choosing to run or walk their favoured distance.
The event was started by the Venerable John Ashe, Archdeacon of Lynn, in 2010, and has raised over £100,000. The air ambulance is very close to his heart as it saved his wife's life, following a serious car accident.
The picnic area will include a craft market, a classic car display, children's and youth activities, archery, a second-hand book stall, ice-cream, refreshment and plant stalls, and live music.
The event, from 10am to 3pm, will be held in the grounds of Wolterton Hall, between Cromer and Aylsham.
