An Attleborough-based firm has become Carbon Trust-accredited, meaning businesses which have its heat pumps installed could be eligible for grants of up to £10,000.
Finn Geotherm, which installs ground and air source heat pumps, has received the accreditation as part of the trust's goal to help build a sustainable, low-carbon economy.
Guy Ransom, the firm's commercial director, said he was thrilled with development. He said: 'The accreditation not only recognises our expertise in ground and air source heat pumps, but it also gives us the opportunity to further help small and medium-sized businesses who are considering installing renewable energy systems and may benefit from the Carbon Trust Green Business Fund.' Grants are made so businesses can help pay for new energy-saving pumps. For more information about the Carbon Trust, visit www.carbontrust.com.
