A care home has improved since its last inspection nearly a year ago and was rated 'good' by the Care Quality Commission .
Nightingale care home in Welborne, near Dereham, was inspected in March, and registered manager Angela Newsome, said: 'This result is fantastic news and testimony to all our staff's hard work and commitment.
'We were very disappointed with our last inspection and have made lots of positive changes including ensuring there is an activity co-ordinator working every day of the week and re-writing all our care plans.'
The improvements were reflected in the report, which stated: 'Visitors told us that staff were caring and were very complimentary about staff. One visitor said staff were 'really lovely, very kind'. Another visitor told us 'Best staff ever, really marvellous, couldn't find better'.'
The care home looks after 47 residents, some with dementia. After its last inspection, it was told to make improvements.
