A Norwich care company is hosting a range of dementia friendly events across the city in support of Dementia Awareness Week.
The events will kick off at the Forum where Home Instead's Mark Johnston will be providing advice and information on Alzheimer's and dementia from 11am until 5pm with a Dementia Friend's session at the Millennium Library at 4pm.
Claire Collingsworth, Home Instead's assistant care manager, will be giving advice at the Dementia Fayre at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital from 10am until 5pm on Monday.
On Wednesday and Friday the Home Instead team will be at Waitrose in Eaton offering advice and support on the care services they offer. On the Wednesday afternoon the team will go to The Cellar House to attend the launch of the Eaton Dementia Friendly Community.
Dementia Awareness week is running from Monday, May 14 until Saturday, May 20.
