Volunteers are being trained to help staff Thorpe St Andrew's first dementia cafe.
The service, which will take place at Roxley Hall, on Yarmouth Road, is due to open on Wednesday, July 12.
Earlier this month, a training session was held for 20 of the 45 registered volunteers who will assist with the service.
The session was led by Hayley Howes of Andrew Fredrick Adult Support.
Once open, the cafe will be the second of its kind in the Broadland district following the launch of a similar initiative in Sprowston last year.
The service in Thorpe St Andrew will take place every three weeks from next month.
Back in March, councillor Sue Lawn said the cafe was the 'first step' towards Thorpe St Andrew becoming a Dementia Friendly Community.
