Military vehicles, live music and the unveiling of a new ex-services standard will all form part of an armed forces weekend to take place in Wymondham.
The event, which will raise money for armed forces charity SSAFA and the Norwich Pipe Band, will kick off with a performance by the Bonneville 58's Band at the Wymondham and District Ex Service's Social Club's Regal Lounge on Saturday, June 24 from 8.30pm.
There will be a parade of military vehicles from the Market Cross to the ex-services club from 2.30pm on Sunday, June 25, with the pipe band to play. Then at the club there will be stalls from groups including the cadets, a brew-up, bar, raffle and the unveiling of the club's new standard. The event is open to all and members pride themselves on the club's welcoming environment for both men and women. This year also marks the 40th anniversary since the club bought the Regal Cinema building in Friarcroft Lane.
