A roads policing officer has warned motorists not to take the risk of mixing drink and drugs with driving.
A quarter of detainees at the Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre overnight on Friday were in custody for driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
There were multiple arrests that evening as officers from the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing team patrolled in and around Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.

One drunk man was arrested after he got into his car at a petrol station while one police officer was refuelling his patrol car at the end of a shift.
Another driver was arrested with the help of police in Lowestoft after testing positive for drugs and was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
A police officer from Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing said on Twitter that drink and drug driving was just not worth the risk.
He finished the tweet by making reference to Norfolk Constabulary's Fatal Four campaign which highlights the dangers of speeding, not wearing a seatbelt, driving while using a mobile phone and drink/drug driving.
