Great Yarmouth will be awash with colour today, as a carnival atmosphere engulfs the town.
As part of the annual Great Yarmouth Arts Festival, a carnival parade is preparing to maraud from the seafront to the town centre this morning, creating a party atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy.
Performers, including drummers, bands and dancers, will parade from the Marine Centre at 11am.
They will then parade down the seafront, up Regent Road and on to St George's Theatre down King Street, bringing joyous sound and colour with them along the way.
The theme for this year's parade is 'Great Yarmouth Rhythms', which will be illustrated with stunning costumes and models of the sea, boats, windmills and other symbols of the town's heritage.
