A supermarket has donated first aid equipment to a group of St John Ambulance Cadets.
The Badgers Sett, based in Clover Hill in Bowthorpe, were given the bandages following an equipment clear out at Sainsbury's Pound Lane store.
The supermarket said it was happy to donate the bandages, which had recently gone out of date and were unusable. However, the Cadets were pleased to put them to good use.
Luke Wilkinson, Unit Youth Leader in Clover Hill, said: 'Sainsbury's providing this first aid equipment to us will form an integral part of our emergency first aid training that we deliver. Without the equipment, we cannot equip our cadets with the skills needed to provide the best care to the public.
'We pride ourselves at Clover Hill in having Cadets that are unique and individualized learners. Having physical equipment to train with helps these young minds to fulfil their potential within St John Ambulance.'
