Fathers and other loved ones who have died will be remembered at a service and picnic planned for Colney Woodland Burial Park, near Norwich.
The event on Sunday, June 18, will conclude this week's Purple Picnic fundraising week for bereaved children's charity Nelson's Journey.
Sam Curtis, park manager, said: 'Father's Day is a day of remembering for many people - we invite families to celebrate their loved ones at our Service of Remembrance, and by holding a Purple Picnic in our beautiful woodland and meadow.
'It's a lovely way to get together in memory of a special person, to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors, and particularly to raise money for Nelson's Journey, which does incredible work to support children and young people through their grief.'
The service will run from 11am to midday, and visitors can then enjoy their picnic anywhere within the park's 16 acres of woodland.
Sarah Hyde, Nelson's Journey community funding and marketing officer, said: 'For some children the effects of grief can include anxiety, loss of appetite, self-harming and suicidal thoughts, lack of concentration and school refusal.
'We want to make sure no bereaved child feels alone and that they have the opportunity to access support should they need it.'
Ms Hyde said Purple Picnic events gave people the chance to remember someone they miss, while supporting other bereaved children by fundraising. She said: 'We hope it will give a sense of community to those taking part and help bereaved children realise they are not alone.'
Purple Picnic fundraisers can be registered online at www.nelsonsjourney.org.uk/purple-picnicAnyone registering a Purple Picnic between June 12-18 will also be in with a chance to have Kate Barmby, 2016 Great British Bake Off contestant, visit their picnic.
