Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Kimberley last night in which a woman died.
The incident happened shortly after 8.30pm, when a black Peugeot 207, which was travelling along the B1108 in the direction of Norwich, mounted the verge and collided with a tree. The female driver of the car died at the scene. Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone who may have seen the manner in which the car was being driven prior to the incident. They should contact Norfolk Constabulary's Serious Collision Investigation Team at Wymondham on 101. Police said no further details of the deceased would be released ahead of an inquest, which will be opened in due course.
A Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said crews were sent to a crash involving one vehicle on the B1108 near the village at around 8.30pm.
