The Royal Norfolk Show 2017: Showstoppers choir will celebrate our county in song

Showstoppers, A Choir Of A Thousand, is a mass community ensemble created especially for the show and features school and community choirs from across the county.

The huge choir is the centrepiece to the show's theme of Celebrating the Arts and the singers will be taking centre stage in the Grand Ring on Thursday to perform the song Things Grow which has been specially composed by Cheryl Frances-Hoad with lyrics by Molly Naylor.

The Showstoppers choirmaster is Mark De-Lisser, from TV's The Voice and a lead mentor on Gareth Malone's Naked Choir.

Also joining the Showstoppers in the Grand Ring on Thursday will be Norwich soprano singer Emma Nuule who will be leading the singing of the national anthem. She said: 'It's an honour to be asked to lead the choir in the national anthem.'

Showstoppers will perform in the Grand Ring on Thursday at 6pm.
