Drivers are being urged to drive to conditions after police reported a 'ridiculous' number of collisions on the region's roads.
Two of the main arterial routes through Norfolk have been closed off entirely as a result of crashes at different periods on Wednesday evening, with the A11 closed at the Stag roundabout and the A47 blocked near North Runcton.
The latest in a string of single vehicle collisions occurred on the B1150 at North Walsham where a person was trapped and required assistance from the fire service.

Fire crews were also called to the A140 at Alby where appliances from Aylsham and Sheringham made the vehicle and scene safe and provided casualty care.
Response officer at Fakenham PC Jon Parker said there had been a 'ridiculous number of car crashes' through the evening and 'all but one of them single-vehicle.
'Please slow down on the wet roads,' he warned drivers.
