A group of schoolchildren have had the chance to explore a luxury Norfolk hotel which houses an fascinating insight into one of Britain's heroes to mark the end of their Year 6 studies.
The 26 pupils from Burnham Market Primary School visited The Hoste in Burnham Market to learn about the hospitality industry.
After touring the hotel, the children saw a 'Remember Nelson' exhibition, featuring letters written by Horatio Nelson, together with prints and displays from artists including George Arnold and an original 'life mask' of Lord Nelson cast in Vienna in 1800.
The exhibition is located in the hotel's sheltered garden.
The children also took part in a quiz to identify key facts about the life of Nelson, who was born in nearby Burnham Thorpe.
Brendan Hopkins, The Hoste's owner, said: 'We were delighted to welcome Burnham Market Primary School to The Hoste Luxury Boutique hotels and Spa as they celebrate the end of year six.
'It was great to show them the diversity of roles that are within the hotel and we hope the visit will inspire the children to consider the hospitality sector as a possible career choice.
'North Norfolk's popularity as a tourist destination is growing year upon year and we hope that some of those in attendance are inspired to pursue a career in the industry.'
