Police officers from Norfolk Constabulary showed off their moves and got into the festival feeling at a live music event.
Greeted by an audience of young children, the officers tackled the Cha Cha Slide dance routine at Rackheath Live, held at the village's Jubilee Park today.
Danny Thomas, a teacher at Alysham High School, went along to the event with his wife Susanna and their children one-year-old Matilda and three-year-old Maxwell.
He filmed the dance, which he said was 'brilliant'.
Mr Thomas, 31, who lives in Rackheath, said: 'The compère came on and he said there had been something very serious happen and the police were involved so everyone backed off a bit and wondered what was going on.
'But then the three officers came out and started to dance. It was fantastic, great to see.'
In Mr Thomas' video, the officers are seen doing the well-known routine to the joy of onlookers.
'It was great for the kids - and for the adults to be honest,' said Mr Thomas.
'Sometimes people's perception of the police is not always positive but everyone was loving it.'
He added that with the recent terror atrocities across the country, the police had been under a lot of pressure.
'They've all be through a lot recently, they could quite easily hide away but it's great to see them engaging like this, it's all part of the job.'
