A fire has broken out in a silage store in Dereham which hosted 250 tonnes of silage, sleepers and tyres.
The fire services have advised residents of Toftwood, Dereham to keep their windows and doors closed following a fire at a farm which saw 250 tonnes of materials ablaze.
The fire services were called to the farm in Colleen Close at 3:10pm, and one crew still remains at the scene.
Given the scale of the fire it is unknown how long it will take to be put out, however it is not affecting traffic in the area.
Appliances were sent to the blaze from Earlham, Swaffham, Dereham, who used hose pipes to bring the fire under control.
Silage is grass or fodder which is stored in airtight conditions, to be fed to cattle during the winter months.
