A woman died in Lowestoft after suffering a cardiac arrest despite the efforts of emergency services who fought to save her.
East of England Ambulance service was called to a house in Bevan Street West at 11.47am on Saturday to a report of a woman who was not breathing.
Police and fire services were called after the ambulance crews were unable to enter the residence.
The services assisted by forcing entry to the property.
An ambulance spokesman said: 'A community first responder, two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance crew and East Anglian Air Ambulance were dispatched.
'They treated a woman who was in cardiac arrest. Despite their best efforts, the patient sadly died at the scene.
'Our thoughts go out to her family and friends.'
Police say the death is not believed to be suspicious and a file will now be prepared for the coroner.
Next of kin have been informed.
